Liberal Democrat that is postulated for a position in partial elections elevates the eyebrows after daring to all in the bare attraction of channel 4

It is rare to obtain the naked truth from politicians, but Connor Rouse could change all that.

The 28 -year -old, who is standing in a partial election of Norfolk next month, once appeared in the dating program of Channel 4, Naked Attraction.

The controversial program makes a contestant choose a partner from a group of brave people who expose parts of their bare bodies, with their hidden faces.

Rouse participated in the series in 2023 but finished second.

The very liberal democrat, who is playing a partial choice for a seat on the North Norfolk district council in his hometown of Holt, has maintained professional composure while in the stump in the coastal city of the height market with the MP of North Norfolk Lib Dem Steff Aquarone.

And he has refused to go to the public undressing, sticking from local politics when asked about it.

But there have been Titters in the community about his naked ambition, with an online commentator who fired him as “the guy who took out his twig and laughed on television.”

Other locals have expressed astonishment, and the local Peter Bone says: ‘Could you take it seriously as a councilor? Well, it depends on where I was looking.

Jack Horwood, 93, who has lived in Holt for 28 years, added: ‘Anything seems to go these days. I do not agree with that, I am too old to do something about it, and it is crazy.

You can’t take it seriously. Who could take it seriously on Earth, being naked on television so that everyone sees it.

Chris Branch, Halifax resident in West Yorkshire who was visiting the city, said: ‘It is very strange but it is a sign of where things are going. It’s like the 15 minutes of Andy Warhol’s fame.

“People who could say that naked attraction is a joke … well, politics is becoming a joke than ever.”

Mr. Rouse, a keys of keys to the care house, avoided discussing his appearance.

He said in a statement: ‘Holt is my hometown. It is a beautiful place to live, but that does not mean that it cannot be even better.

‘As the next councilor of Holt, I will fight hard to ensure that the new primary school is built without delay.

‘County conservatives have dropped us to breaking their promise to build a new modern and necessary primary school.

Rouse, 28, appeared in the program in 2023. He reached the last two, but ended in second place

“I will also campaign for security improvements throughout the dangerous A148, and I will work with Steff Aquarone MP to ensure that first -class health services are available to local people.”

Democratic companions are supporting Mr. Rouse, with Mr Aquarone saying: ‘I know Connor for a while and I know he would be an excellent councilor for Holt. He has my full support.

‘Onnor will only press to build the new primary school after years of delay and conservative excuses.

‘Only Connor will ensure security improvements throughout the A148 after years of inaction by the Torsa in County Hall.

“Just Connor will defend Holt and make him an even better place to live.”

The program was issued for the first time in 2016 and has attracted hundreds of complaints to ofcom. Channel 4 announced that the program would end last month

The leader of the North Norfolk district council, Lib dem, Tim Adams, added: “Connor can speak for himself, but because of what I know he is a man who has established many different challenges in his life and this (partial choice) could be another of those he has assumed.”

Martin Batey, who is already a councilor of Lib dem for Holt, defended Mr. Rouse when the comment of ‘laughs of laughs’ emerged online, answering:’ What is the problem with that? Everything is due to personal choice. He did nothing wrong.

‘Many guts are needed to do something like that, if you ask me. It shows that you are not afraid to show who is as a person.

Last month, it arose that Channel 4 was a naked attraction after nine years. The program, organized by Anna Richardson, had caused hundreds of complaints to ofcom.

The partial election, which will take place on May 1, was caused by the resignation of the conservative councilor Eric Vardy.

The council is controlled by the DEMS LIBS, who have 25 of the 40 councilors. There are 13 conservatives and two independents today.
