Royal family shares emotional video as Queen Camilla hosts festive party at Clarence House

Queen Camilla, wife of King Charles III, welcomed families of seriously ill children for a festive party at Clarence House on Thursday.

The 77-year-old looked in high spirits as she hosted her heartwarming annual Christmas lunch for young people, supported by two of her sponsors, Helen & Douglas House children’s hospice and Roald Dahl’s Marvelous Children’s Charity.

The emotional message was shared on the royal family’s social media accounts with a touching message. “Rocking around the Christmas tree!”

The message continued: “Continuing a cherished annual tradition, the Queen welcomed children supported by @helenanddouglashouse and @roalddahlcharity to Clarence House to help decorate the Christmas tree. We think they have done a wonderful job!

“To add to the magic of the day, everyone enjoyed some festive tunes from The Band and Bugles of The Rifles and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Santa himself even made a surprise appearance!”

King Charles was all smiles and gave fans a new update on her health as she revealed she is “glad to make it to the end of the year.”
